Welcoming Three New Physicians to Innovative MD Medical Clinic
Innovative MD Medical Clinic is proud to welcome three new family physicians to our growing team in Transcona. As our clinic continues to expand, we remain focused on providing accessible, thoughtful, and comprehensive care for our community. These new physicians bring a wide range of experience, clinical interests, and patient focused values that align closely with our approach to care.
Dr. Krystal Montgomery, MD CCFP
Dr. Montgomery has been practicing comprehensive family medicine in the Transcona area for over a decade. A University of Manitoba graduate, she is known for combining strong clinical expertise with genuine empathy and careful listening. She provides care across the lifespan, from paediatrics to palliative care, and has a strong focus on mental health, women’s health, and preventative medicine. Dr. Montgomery is widely trusted by her patients for her clear communication and advocacy. She is not currently accepting new patients.
Dr. Yohannes Teferi, MD CCFP
Dr. Teferi brings a broad and integrated perspective to patient care through his work in both community based family medicine and inpatient hospital care. He completed his medical degree and family medicine residency at the University of Manitoba, including the Northern Remote stream. His clinical interests include chronic disease prevention and management, continuity of care, and evidence based practice. In addition to his clinic work, Dr. Teferi practices as a hospitalist at Selkirk Regional Health Centre, supporting patients across the full continuum of care.
Dr. Julia Ojemolon, MBBS MRCGP CCFP
Dr. Ojemolon offers a wide scope of practice shaped by international training and experience across multiple healthcare settings. She completed her medical degree in Nigeria and later continued her professional training in the United Kingdom, earning Membership in the Royal College of General Practitioners before completing her family medicine certification in Canada. Her areas of care include pediatrics, urgent care, women’s health, men’s health, mental health, and chronic disease management. She is known for her warm, compassionate approach and her commitment to holistic, long term patient care.
